The Capital accumulation, the Capital Formation is happening in a very limited number of real economy manufacturers.The others are playing the devaluation of wages of the overall workforce, squeezing some productivity left, as the exit strategy and so try to keep the falling rate of profit. Which leads to the end of Capital and the lost capital accumulation , in 21st century.
The end of capital in 21st century could have been seen with the naked eye from 2010 on.
The owners of real capital convinced their workforce that they are in the same boat. The manufacturing owners and the workers were in it together against the same enemy.The enemy was globalization rules and competition,rising overall debt, financialization and falling profit.

The lets work together motto , we are all in the same boat situation,was embraced by the last remnants of organized workforce, the Unions.If not, the organized independent unions were banned or obstructed by law.
The Unions and also the non organized workers started to think and act as they were Milton Friedman fans.They acknowledged that outsourcing of capital capacity to the cheaper places was a way to preserve at least some jobs in the place of origin.They even believed and still believe that when cutting the costs, which means cutting themselves and their living will lead to a new cycle of capital formation and that the hiring of well paid, guaranteed jobs will come back, so the neoliberal textbook sells the growth cycles.. They, Idiots. They helped the Capital for more work exploitation to preserve their jobs.
They, the Unions and workers, became completely conservative, fighting for jobs in completely obsolete factories. Like in Italy where they fought and fight for a completely obsolete steel production in Taranto, or in Trieste, where they delayed for many years the foreclosure of a terrible, falling to pieces 18th century coke steel factory. They even took as granted that the population was dying of cancer, so were the workers, in this depleted of capital factories which squeezed the last drops of profit from the paleolithic machinery and long gone production methods and their workforce..
The same goes in the other, capital depleted mature sectors, where the workforce fights together with their Bosses and Owners to keep the last remnants alive.

That the Capital and Work were in the same boat was true if one takes for granted the cargo cult economy model which all believed and still believe was the Word of God.. The Portfolio Capital predominance of finance money , assets and bets was and is standing in opposition to the manufacture capital.
The Capital in a strict sense has lost the hegemony forever.The end of Capital in 21st century.
The workforce, embracing the Milton Friedmanesque neoliberal narrative of TINA , together with their masters and producers, in fright of facing the demise of their status while watching the gig economy precipice growing under their feet, embraced the common cause with the real capital owners.

Concluding, the new alliance of real capital and its workforce against the common enemy has succeeded.

Hi there. The economic mumbo jumbo cargo cult has not even noticed the ongoing phenomena, as usual they peddle the lackey theories of their Masters and Producers. The same applies to the impostor left parties.

She is the real gem in this desert of meaning in the last remaining decades of the human parasite organized life and thought.
Thomas Piketty has missed it by a long mile.
The MMT analysis is not good for this situation in sense that the budget deficit = net spending is not accurate enough, as WD has pointed and proved many times on this “chain” blog.The savings due to the State deficit/debt go as a savings in a very tiny fraction for the households and only in a very minor amount to the manufacture capital. The gross saving from the State deficit goes to the Portfolio Capital.

The way how Central Banks deliver the money directly to the topfew and nothing directly to the bottom of the Society pyramid make the famous inequality divide. Witchdoctor is proving here, once again and from the slightly different angle, that only the QE- printing money out of nothing- from the bottom up- from people pockets up to the real capital owners- manufacturers- can make a full employment, and the capital accumulation and profit possible. The current model is provoking the end of work and the end of Capital in 21st Century. Pikkety call for taxes is completely a wrong approach if the pyramid of money flow is not overturned before we can talk of taxation, which, in the money out of nothing economy is not even an issue. Taxes are there to constrain everybody to use the State currency for exchange and not for financing the State, as MMT clearly proves..
To cut it short, just now, there are many left and so called progressives who want to pay and tax for the debacle of capitalism , debacle of austerity and neoliberalism, debacle of people going poor and unemployed , now, when the crisis is going to hit as a nuclear bomb,by taxing the last remnants of some wealth in people pockets, like real estate-houses, Flats, savings… and make all poor but equal, the communist dream with the chosen ones on top!
OK, if you need to tax as a moral act, then start taxing anything over 2million euros.

The stupidity of the left is not even taking into account that the Portfolio Capital is having in his pockets HUNDREDS OF TRILLIONS OF ASSETS. They want to tax people peanuts instead, as usual, the dirty sods.

The Portfolio Capital is NOT investing in real capital. It is investing in the price.And from this price, rising or shorting, it makes a
Profit.
There is no capital formation in this operations in the classic sense.The capital accumulation of the real economy is not the goal of Portfolio Capital.The situation has overturned and is upside down, and the effect is a planning economy and the depletion of real capital . The growth of capital, since the rules and constraints are “upside down” has no further expansion capability as it is de facto blocked by the Portfolio Capital in his own expansion.. What is Capitalism, basically?

Capitalism is a system of capital accumulation for maximizing the profit. WD.Capital accumulation can be private or public.

Slowly, the profit rate falls. The economy of scale , with a small per item profit makes a one big profit, and that is the ultimate concentration of capital, before AI and robotics make a 0.001 cent per item profit in trillions of cents of trillions of items pr day. This is also the end of work.

The three macro parameters are, in the last 13 years;
Almost all Eu countries have a huge rising debt. And they are not a currency issuer of their own debt..
Almost all Eu countries have a dismal, free fall drop of Public Investments
Almost all EU countries have a deep drop in Capital Formation.

We can conclude that Eu countries are heavily net loosing (saving) in public investments and heavily net loosing (saving ) in private capital formation, WHILE the Debt is steeply rising!
This is happening already for 13 years! 13 years is enough to conclude what WD is concluding and proving. This is a default and it is the end of capitalism in The EU. Cheers! The EU anticapitalist Commission has won!
Not even the steep rising public debt is helping the Eu countries to prevent the depletion and destruction of the private capital and the free fall in public spending, or to at least achieve some public spending. This can not be called a depression, it is a final crackdown.

This data of free fall of the GFC in 13 years have to be corrected by what would have been the average, even sluggish normal growth of GFC in this 13 years. Or lets look Italy, Greece has terrible situation which is a catastrophe, but Italy has in last 13 years:

The difference between Capital and Portfolio

WD will explain why Slovenia is a good example in this proof of the end of capital and the consequent end of Real Capitalism.There is no financial market in Slovenia worth mentioning and so the part of financial capitalism is missing.This means that we can clearly see, that the real economy capital destruction is different from the financial “capital “ destruction. This is the case of Slovenia.
In fact the real economy capital has a different intrinsic nature from the financial capital. Imagine your facevook page with your chums and pals, or a telephone directory. That is a Portfolio. It is a suprastructured capital of various chums and chunks which has a different goal from the real factory capital. In fact,financial is opposed to a real capital and we see this when the stock market cheers the sacking of tens of thousands people working in some real economy firm as a sign of higher profit for their portfolio.. Amazon is classic Portfolio Capital, where the sellers-manufacturers sell at their own risk of failure, forced to keep their profit low, while the big chunk of profit and the profit of economy of scale- the Amazon platform, goes to this Portfolio Capital Holder. Facevook sells people who are there for free and this is another Portfolio Capital. Google sells telephone directories as a core Portfolio capital…

Shortly WD will put some easy pieces of examples what is a systemic failure.But, here is the method and the first and the only boundary condition.
The systemic failure is an event which, from time to time, hits oneself directly in the head, in the guts, and makes ones heart bounce and cry.

The systemic failure is NOT a Mistake of the System. It is how the System works and prospers. If you want to repair the systemic failure, the moment you do it for real, you have changed the system.
The system has no mistakes. It is how it works, making local systemic failures.
Anyone, like Biden or even Obama, who say that this events are mistakes and that they do not concern the system, are telling you a pack of lies.Trump is not even trying to sell you this bollocks, he loves systemic failures as a way of doing business..

I Can`t Breathe. That is a systemic failure. It is how a system works.

There is a social distancing in the system. There are distances between classes , between earnings, but not between people, people are all in a same system, To claim social distancing is to claim that you can not change anything, a caste system. It is not an open society. OK, one is always free to be for oneself. But this is not called a mass social distancing as a rule.
It is a physical distancing, but if you use social instead of physical, you take the consequences. It is a new systemic failure you are supporting. It is up to you, you are warned.

Do you know what means Informal? This is the latest one name.
Until now it was: having a relaxed, friendly, or unofficial style, manner, or nature.
Now, Informal means: a majority of people living from hand to mouth, working day by day without any protection in the system where they have no rights, like free time, pension, health , housing or whatever.

Witchdoctor and Witchlady, in times of Covid19 quarantine, decided to repaint the fence planks. They disassembled the wooden planks , cleaned them and started to repaint them in series of six and five planks.
While painting them, each in front of the other,each painting from his side into the middle, six planks posed on two work trestles,
WD said automatically: “Give me the middle one.”He was dividing 6 by 2 and idiotically thought it is 3, the third being as a middle one.
“There is no middle one” said Witchlady.
“Oh, I see, it is fun, we have to rethink this” said WD. Witchlady is always right and he was “left”, speechless.

If one assumes that for.ex. 6 is a symmetric number, going from the left to the right and reverse, there is no middle.Having six planks and dividing them in half in real life, means nothing. The Half is empty, it is a non real number and it is not 3 for real, 3 is abstract division functioning as a void..
This applies for even numbers in real life. If you think it is 3, then in six planks you have 2x number three (3) planks, the one counting from the left and the one counting from the right and they are different planks..

6-3= zero middle which is not 3
If you use a division in 5 planks series, you get 2,5. It is a non existing plank in real life.
In odd series numbers there is a middle number for real, if one assumes a series to be symmetric. Left right left.
In odd number series there is a real middle number, a real plank there in front of you,while in even series there is none. In odd series the number divided in half gets a divided number, always less than one while in even series dividing by half one gets essentially a zero real number.

In 24 days your existing number doubles, if you have started from 100.000 people infected, you get 200.000 people infected in 24 days.24 days more and the people are 400.000. Even if you have 1% people infected, you double in 72 days. Etc.Where Do you see the end of the series, with waves coming and crashing?

Just after Pope Francis on Easter pleaded that people should get some sort of Universal Income in times of Covid19 to save them from hunger and defaults, the famous crime and punishment squad of the debt driven Economy Cargo Cult, especially its Eurozone members, has hastened to open up all the economic activities.
